Merry Christmas

I was talking to Dahlia about my personal stuff, and she asked me why I'm still not over her.

After sooo long, I still think about her. I should really be completely over all of it, but I'm not.

She must have hurt me pretty badly for me to still think about her...

Anyway, I want to go to Disneyland with my cousins tomorrow.

Merry Christmas.

Happy Birthday

Happy 21st Birthday my dearest Rashad & Dahlia Altawaty. You guys are THE best cousins I could ever ask for. You're both are basically my brother from another mother and my sister from another mister.

I love you guys.

SD

Stingaree was pretty crazy last night.

All three of my buddies got way too faded. Rashad was dancing with some 31 year old chick. That club was freakin' awesome. Carlos threw up out the side of the car while I was driving 75 on the freeway. Crazy Mexicans came up to me asking to use my phone because they were running from the police after they beat up some "cocky Chino".

More stuff happened, but it's hard to remember everything when I was also pretty drunk. All in all, a good night. I hope Vegas is even better.

I'm still thinking about you. I can't help it. I have no idea what to do about it either. I guess I'll be off to the gym then.

idk why.

Uhm. I miss you, and idk why...

More to come about my night in San Diego. For now, two words: ridiculously crazy...

I hope I'm not too hungover in the morning.

I wonder...

if anyone actually reads my blog... hmm... Anyways...

IT'S OFFICIAL, AS OF 12/17/09, SCHOOL IS OUT!

This is what the next week is shaping up to look like:

Friday (today): Flight at 8:25am, SMF-ONT. SoCal here I come.
Saturday: Going to San Diego with Rashad. (Not sure why yet, but I think we're hittin' up the gaslamp district) :P
Sunday: Christmas dinner with the Ringl family in La Habra Heights
Monday: Rest day? lol.
Tuesday: Rashad & Dahlia's 21st! In Vegas for a one night stand.
Wednesday: Leave Vegas. Back in SoCal
Thursday: Christmas Eve. Christmas party?
Friday: Christmas. Parents might come to Riverside?

Anywho, it's about to go down... and I'm sure that me and Rashad will be hittin' up the gym while we're down there. :D

Rudolf

I had a good time with Imin and Davyan in the city. Powell & Market is where it's at. I wish I could live there again. I visited all my old haunts. It was great. Twin peaks was crazy foggy, windy, and cold though. I think I may go back again this week.

Just putting this out there.

Sometimes I think you're crazy and have problems. Yeah...

Now, to get back to work. School is almost over.

One year later.

So, what's different a year later?

-I'm 21 now.. Lol, so that means I'm legal to drink and gamble (not that it's that important). :)
-I'm living on my own... With the help of my parents, of course.
-Different city, different school, different car.
-More experienced; I'd say the last year of my life has been the most eye-opening and enjoyable year I've lived.
-Finally started going to the gym.
-I marched drum corps this past summer. Oh yeah, and Sac State drumline.
-I'm more appreciative of family, and I'm more in touch with my Dad than I've ever been.
-I'm smarter, in an academic sense. Probably wiser too.
-I changed majors.

Now, what has stayed the same?

-I'd say I'm still Raymond. I'm still the same guy you've known (or once known).
-I love music & drumming (same as before).
-I still procrastinate EVERYTHING.
-I still fall for girls way too easily.
-Still have braces... lol
-I still crack jokes that aren't funny. haha.

Good or bad, what's different and stayed the same is who I am now. I'm still developing as an adult. It's exciting.

Here's a song that I've been listening to lately.

51 weeks, 6 days.

I'm approaching my 1-year anniversary of starting this blog, and I just needed to stress one thing.... This blog has been a great place for me to share my feelings and it has become my favorite free-writing outlet where I can just express myself, and write anything I want that is on my mind. It has been a great way to remember the (good & bad) things that have happened to me in the past year. I'm glad I've kept this sort of online diary.

Man, it's freezing outside. It's actually 32F outside right now so, technically it's freezing. lol.

So, this past weekend was great. My niece's Quinceanera was a lot of fun. They held it at the Gaia hotel in American Canyon which was a very nice hotel. I danced my ass off and looked pretty sharp in my teal-themed tux. I got to see all my family for which I always am thankful for.

Sacramento State Winter Ensemble is starting up again, and the drumline is looking almost (if not just) as big as the fall drumline. I hope we start to clean up soon, because I don't wanna be in a dirty snare-line (or drumline for that matter).

School is almost done with. I am so over this semester already. I'm so ready to start my 2 week vacation in SoCal in 11 days. I just have about 8 things to finish up on and then I'll be able to call it quits for school in 2009.

Speaking of the end of school, I'll be leaving for SoCal on Dec. 18th. It will be similar to last year where I enjoyed a Christmas dinner with my Ringl side of the family, and then spend the rest of the 2 weeks being with my cousins. Rashad and Dahlia will be turning 21 on Dec. 22nd, so I'm pretty excited about what may happen since WE ALL WILL BE FINALLY LEGAL!

Exciting times are ahead. I hope it only gets even better from here.

Tonight

I felt so weak. I tried. It just wasn't my night. I hope there aren't too many of these along the way.

At least I'm tired; I did something right...
