It's 4:52am and I'm asking myself...

8 Days.

8 more days until I know I'll be done with summer school. Like, for good. Like FOREVER. (Not unless there's some retarded Master's degree program that offers summer classes, and at the chance that I might need to take those classes in order to finish my degree) BUT... other than that, I DON'T think I'll be worrying about summer classes ever again.

2 more lectures and a final exam. Then I'll have 13 days to diddle-daddle around before my last first day of class (as an undergrad).... Marching Band... Lolwut?

Oh yeah, and I've started to study for the GRE which is happening in 37 days. Wooh!

The weekends don't stand a chance.

The weekends are getting shorter and shorter. I swear, school for some reason, just creeps back up to you faster and faster. Funny thing is, I have school 2 days a week! Oh summer school, how I despise thee.

Some cowboy action right there...
I had a good weekend in Santa Cruz with my niece Rosemary's 17th birthday last Saturday. I'm not sure about all the fuss about where I was sleeping and who was gonna drive, but it was all handled better than I expected. Santa Cruz was beautiful, with all the nice, luke warm weather I was hoping for.

I'm glad my flip-flops didn't fall off.

I took some video of me and my cousins riding the Giant Dipper which turned out to be some pretty intense footage.

Anyway, after all the excitement, we headed back to the bay area around 11pm. (One side note) On the way home in the middle of the Santa Cruz Mountains, I spotted a car on fire in a turnout. I pulled over and the owner of the car on fire quickly asked me to call 911. I did, explained to the operator where we were, and while I was on the phone, the car started to explode. I knew that it would be a matter of seconds before the flames reached the gas tank. After the 2nd explosion under the hood, I knew that it was time to leave before me and my family could have been seriously injured. Knowing that a firetruck was on its way, I bounced as fast as I could. My biggest surprise is that no one else on scene (people were stopping to see if they could help) called 911. They just stood there, admiring that flaming car. SMH. I don't understand. At least I made the call and helped out in some way.

Gotta love family pictures.

The next day was a Rosie's birthday lunch with the rest of the family. I'm glad I was able to see Tony and his daughter Milan. I really missed seeing them all the time when I would go to San Francisco. After the lunch, we all gathered around and took this family photo...

Soon after, I got in my car, and drove the long and dull drive back to Sacramento, where it was back to reality... and school. Ugh... School... It's a lovehate thing.

Yawn

Why are things so difficult? I like when things are easy, & things just "fit" together.

My goal is to keep things as simple as possible...

I'm sure that somewhere down the road, things might get better or worse... but at least for now things aren't that bad, but they COULD be better.

inception

What a trip of a movie. Haha. It's past 3am now, so I better get to bed. I can barely walk cause I'm so sore, but I'll manage to make the 5 feet it takes to get from my desk to my bed.

This week is looking like it's about to shape into a nice week. I just want to get done with summer school now. Ugh. 9 weeks in and I'm loosing it.

3 things on my to-do list this week:

1. Sign up for the GRE
2. Finish my resume
3. Attempt to look for a stable job.

Alright, that's enough... Goodnight.

Drogging.

I'm drogging. Don't ask what it is. It's a little secret between me and you.

I can't wait until this is all over. Summer school is a drag.

I can't wait until fall semester starts. Things will get back to normal, because right now, Summer just doesn't feel right to me.

Check out my other site if you wanna know what's really going thru my head. It's not pretty, and it's definitely targeted towards one naive person.

a gift.

Oh wow. I didn't expect to get this back.... like ever... I was pretty surprised to find it sitting on my car windshield... But hey, at least it wasn't scratches on my car door or a knife in my tires.

Kinda hurts that you'd give this back. It actually smells nice too.

:(

July 15

Ahah. It's my 22nd.

So last week was cool, a little partying, a little chillin with my homies, and a little of about everything... Overall, good weekend, although, Holland lost in the World Cup Final. Heartbreaker.

So anyway, today is gonna be a good day. Hopefully my flu stays under wraps and I can enjoy going to the Giants game tonight. They're playing the Mets and it's Lincecum day! That means it's about to be a bomb ass game. Oh, and that reminds me, I need to find my camera.

So much crap to do in the next 4 days.

I wont mention it here though, for fear of discovery of what exactly will be happening.

I'll blog about the weekend though... It'll just have to wait til after the weekend.

Carwash.

Recently, I moved into my new place. Let me tell you how much I enjoy this new house that I live in. It's very nice, and sometimes I feel like I don't deserve it.

I finally got the chance to wash my car in about a year today and it looks sweeetttt. I love the feeling of a fully detailed car and being able to just drive a nice looking car... again.

The past 2 weekends, I have been in LA so this weekend I feel like I can relax a little bit, although I do miss being there. Ahh Many good times we shared there. Rashad and Dahlia's graduations, Universal Studios, 2 grad parties, going to the beach, and many more things that I just can't remember at the moment.

Summer school seems like it has been in the back of my head for a while now. There's only 2 weeks left of the first session, and it doesn't really feel like I'm even going to school. I guess this is how people who don't care about school enough feel about college after they've taken a few semesters off and are just getting back into education. It's kind of scary... I don't want school to become a "backseat" priority. For me, I consider school being my life, so it's scary that over the summer I feel like a new type of student after 16 years of school.

Anyway, I know that lately I haven't blogged at all. I'm definitely not forgetting about you, blog. I have just been so busy lately that I haven't had the time to do what I love to do. I'm not neglecting you, blog. Just wait til I get settled into my new place, and life starts to move slower. Then, I will get back into my old ways.

That's all for now, peace.

Life Moves Quick

Life has been so hectic, so rapid, and so stressful the past 2 weeks. It's been an emotional rollercoaster, and I haven't been able to do much of what keeps me really calm and (in a sense) sane, which is blogging. Lola was laid to rest today at Cypress Lawn today in Colma, Ca. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. She was my grandmother, 2nd mother, and a mother to my entire family. She was the glue that kept our clans together. Throughout her life, she touched so many people and influenced others to become better people. From my experience, I know that Lola shaped me to be the man I consider myself to be today. She has always been there to guide me, help me, and nurture me. I owe her so much, of which, I will never be able to repay her for her motherly love she supported me with.

I've learned so much from you Lola. I forever owe you my heart's gratitude. I love you so much. I know you're watching down on me from heaven, and I will be the best man I can be. I certainly want to make you proud when I graduate this Decemeber, because you emphasized the importance of education in the highest regard. When I receive my diploma, my hard work will be dedicated to you; you have always emphasized the importance of education, more than any other person in my life.

Your Loving Grandson,

Raymond Ringl

Lola

I miss my Lola. I love my Lola.

What else is there to say?
