There are things all around me that need to get done.

  1. Fold and put away my clothes
  2. Prep clothes for tomorrow
  3. Brush/bleach my teeth, wash my face
  4. Shower
  5. Prepare my backpack
  6. Wash a few dishes
  7. Set alarm clock
So now I'm asking myself, why am I just sitting here, writing about it when I could be doing these things?

*Thinking*

Ok, I'm done thinking about it. Time to get that list finished.

The good life.

I'm not exactly sure as to why, but I have been feeling really good about life lately.

Things are falling into place. I love life right now. I am surrounded by positive influences all around me. It feels great, and I just want things to just keep getting better and better.

I'm not done with this post, I'll elaborate more later. Now, it's time to gym. It's been a while.

Journey Home.

From USC, walk to Shuttle Stop, shuttle to Union Station, Metrolink to Riverside, picked up by my cousin, then to Walnut to see my dad one more time, then to ONT airport to fly home to Sac, then picked up by Darren for the ride home. Currently, I'm writing this as I sit on the Metrolink on the way to Riverside. I took a pic of union station while I was there. Hope you like.

Me and Rashad had dinner, walked the promenade, checked out the lovely ladies, and I bought some clothes. Now we are off to get some ice cream sandwiches, and then its back to the Frat house.

Goodnight

Goodnight, Blogger readers (although I barely have any, I still write as if there was an audience). Tomorrow, I have family reunion of sorts. Me, Dad, Uncle Russ, and Aunt Karen will be together for lunch at their home in La Habra Heights. I'll get a pic of their dog Duncan and post it on here; I love how cute he is. Anyway I'm posting a photo of me just a few days old which I found from earlier today rummaging around my Dad's pics. Hope you like. Goodnight blog!

Flight to ONT

So I met this amazing girl on the flight from SMF. Gorgeous, cute personality, lovely brown eyes, and her smile was beautiful. I wish I had gotten her number before I said bye. Why do these flights have to be so short?! Ahhhh. Missed connection.

Loose Ends

I had to clear up some ends tonight that were left untied until now. Ah, it feels so much better to be at peace.  =D

With today over, all I have left this school week is drumline, 2 classes, a quiz, and my first exam in Psyc 108 (Organizational Psyc, a class that I love).  Then I'll be in LA from Thursday night til Monday night, visiting my family in Riverside, and my father. Surely there will be shenanigans in between... :)

Why did you have to move to SB the week that I was coming down to Riverside!?!?! Agh, I hate our timing!

let's get philosophical.

"Physical concepts are free creations of the human mind, and are not, however it may seem, uniquely determined by the external world."

Self-Destructive Tendencies

I want to fix this.

So, I guess from now on... Ignorance is bliss.

I'd rather not know anything about you, what you have to say, and just be happy with everything else. Because really, I am a fool when it comes to you. I go out of my way to do things for you, help you out, and what return do I get??? Nothing. In fact, It usually comes out worse than where I had started. I'm done with it.  I'll just do my own thing, and go with the flow.

Talkers

I don't appreciate people who talk crap about my family. I really, really, dislike people who do such things. Why don't you do something better with your time?

Composite GPA Scores.

From the CSUS Psyc Grad School Brochure on acceptance into graduate studies:

"Current Evaluation Model. The current applicant evaluation model equally weights a composite Grade Point Average (GPA) and scores on the GRE. Composite GPA represents a weighted average of the overall GPA and the GPA of the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units, with the latter weighted twice as much as the overall GPA. GRE scores from the Verbal and Quantitative exams are averaged. The two averages (GPA and GRE) are transformed to standard scores, and an admission criterion is established by the department. Applications that pass this first review are then given to the track committees who review the track specific requirements. The track committees will make the final acceptance decisions."

This helps. Since my last 60 units of GPA is like 3.7 and it's double weighted, meaning I'm likely to receive a GPA weight of about 3.6 (when it's all standardized.) I hope.
