Rehearsal Video

So yeah, we had rehearsal tonight. We were missing a tenor, a snare, we're dirty, and it's like our 2nd real rehearsal with the horns so it doesn't sound great, but it's a work in progress. The song is "Give It One" by Maynard Ferguson. It's loud, fast, and in your face. *wink* *wink* ;-D hahahah jk. Enjoy the video.

Tiredness

Valentines day is so overrated... Well that is, if you're actually in a serious relationship. Otherwise, if you're looking to make a certain person feel special by giving them a valentine to show you care, it's a really sweet gesture. This year I don't have a valentine, but who cares. That's not the important part. I just like the idea of giving someone a valentine cause they're special to you. No big deal. Just make them happy.

it's february

So, it's february already. January flew by in what felt like a weekend. So here are my thoughts on the year so far.

• now that school has started, we don't quite talk as much as we used to. I enjoyed when we did.
  
• I'm missing my fam.
  
• school is not as bad as I thought.
  
• my car is just as bad as ever.
  
• winter ensemble is behind schedule but sounding awesome.
  
• the chinese new year parade was a memorable experience... I wanted to keep throwin' down those beats.
  
• my sleep schedule is horrible.
  
• I'm looking forward to the next gades camp
  
• it's raining. =]
  
• wow. the food is good.
  
• I miss my Dad & Lola. =/
• Worst night ever is still fresh in my head. lol.

I'm spending another small fortune on my car. AHHH. Please someone free me from my misery.

I wish

I wish I could travel the world. I hope that whatever career I choose to involve myself, I hope I have an opportunity to travel as part of my job. I don't know what awaits me, however, therein lies the beauty of it all... The unknown excites me. Let's just hope college pays off. =]

hypocritical

Some people can be hypocritical at times. 

renegades camp/school

ok. my first camp was very productive in my opinion. I really felt that I became a better all-around drummer from those 2 days. Now I'm on this tenor hype cause I didn't know how fun learning tenors could be. Now I just gotta learn a few more beats and polish them before the next camp. 

I have mixed feelings about school tmrw. Glad to start up, but I just hope my instructors are not douches. lol

had my first one tonight. it was a good experience. learned a lot of new stuff. came home and now I just wanna go to bed. but can't. i wonder why.

back in tha V.

Came back tonite to V-town. chilled with Matt. we talked about college, girls, and other good stuff. had some dinner & coffee. Then went over to my niece's place, to see the new baby boy. His name is Robin Revelo. What a cute lil' guy. Can't wait to watch him grow up. 

Came home to an almost empty house. Chilled some more. 

Tmrw = sucky day. I know it's gonna hurt.

Mini Dilemma

Should I go home tonight, and sleep over in Vallejo? Have dinner with family, and sleep in? Or should I wake up early tomorrow, and drive down. I think I know what I need to do. 

Vacation was great. I've appreciated it more now knowing it's over. I had fun. I miss them. Oh and last Saturday was the biggest letdown of my life. I was so ready to have fun, and then it slowly turned into a disaster. Well, at least I will NEVER forget that night for what it was. So, in a way that night was pretty fun actually. We made the best of it.
